I have a family member at home who requires special care. He often wets the bed because he can't make it to the toilet in time and he can’t hold his bladder. As a result, my mom, who takes care of him, has to change and wash the bed sheets every day, and sometimes even has to take the mattress outside to air out, otherwise the mattress is going to smell very bad.
We’ve tried using traditional incontinence underpad (Plastic, Rubber, and Cotton, Disposable), it’s still not possible to completely prevent urine leaking to the bedsheet. Moreover, they tend to retain moisture and take a longer time to dry. Skin often gets irritated and develops rashes from prolonged contact with urine.
Therefore, to reduce the daily hassle of changing and to prevent skin irritation, I decided to develop a truly Effective, Fast Absorbent, Breathable, and Skin-Friendly underpad.
After a long search and many trials and errors, I fortuitously discovered a waterproof fabric with a Taiwan patent in Year 2019. This lightweight and thin waterproof material is highly effective in preventing leakage!
